This is ideal for years 3, 4 and 5, but could be used with 6.
This includes planning for six weeks - 30 days in total.
The format I have used is as follows…
Monday - Discussion / Short Writing
Tuesday - Reading Comprehension
Wednesday - Grammar and Punctuation
Thursday and Friday - Longer Writing

-newspaper report
-story
You can easily copy and paste the ideas from this planning into your own format if you want to.
This is an ideal book to use for a half term because it is not too long and it is engaging. However, please be aware that it includes some references to death.

Some good ideas, but for £6 I would have expected a bit more. There is no differentiation or scaffolding sheets for lower ability - it is simply six weeks of activities done as an outline. Quite a bit of extra work is needed to turn these into fully formed lessons.
