Ethics, Innovation and the Law

Developed in partnership with global law firm Allen and Overy this resource addresses the impact of digital technology on society. It challenges young people to examine how technology has changed over the last half a century and asks them to consider who should be held accountable for ensuring technology it is used in a responsible way.

During the course of the lesson students will …
• Explore the way technology is developing and the impacts this has on them and society;
• Learn about the laws that regulate the use of technology, and the challenges of keeping up with the pace of change;
• Consider the ethics of using technology.
