FAKE TANS

I came across this resource in a search complete unrelated to it, but the title was so vague I downloaded it to see what this was. What I found was an anti fake tan PowerPoint that only consisted of images of people wearing tan (all young women bar a single photo of the Oompa Loompas from Willy Wonka) one which had the word fail written on the image of the young girl and another with the comment that 'the fake tan brigade get roles in movies' and 'it's okay my mum gave me the money'. I would be surprised if any self respecting school or member of staff was to use this as it is not educational in any way. Instead it belittles young girls, their fashion choices and ultimately contributes to the poor self esteem and mental wellbeing of the young people we work with every day. Do better.
