This resource has been designed for students working towards Functional Skills Maths qualifications at Entry Level 1. It contains an age-appropriate, editable, 75-slide Powerpoint lesson and a 28-page workbook on the weight component of outcome 8 in the ‘Using Common Measures Shape and Space’ specification - describe and make comparisons in words between measures of items including size, length, width, height, weight and capacity.

The workbook focuses on the weight component of measure. It includes 2 information/explanation sheets, 24 worksheets, 2 progress checks (with answers) and a certificate of achievement.
