A card matching activity on pie charts. Suitable for GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths. Learners have to match a set of 9 frequency tables with their matching pie charts. To do so they will have to work out the angles from the data given on the frequency tables and then match them to the corresponding pie chart. To do this they will have to measure the angles on the pie charts with a protractor. A fun and engaging activity on working out angles in pie charts and measuring pie chart angles that I get learners to work on in pairs.

I use this is an activity within a pie chart lesson but could be used as a starter or plenary.
