Offering an alternative, and hopefully more diverse holiday/winter/Christmas/December music playlist, for teachers and students, with a healthy inclusion of female composers, and composers/performers from diverse backgrounds and countries. Great for exposing students to some new music, with something for everyone of any age. Pieces are of a winter/Christmas/peace/religious/festivals/celebrations theme, so please note it isn’t all specifically ‘winter/Christmas’. Hopefully there will be some new pieces that you haven’t heard before!
Can be used to listen to for pleasure, or as a guided listening or cultural activity. Includes some suggested ‘Guided Listening’ questions.
Includes youtube links to suggested versions of the pieces - all links were working at time of posting, please let me know if this is no longer the case when you use it, and I will update.
