An interactive whiteboard resource designed to extend understanding of feeding relationships. Suitable for upper KS2. Pupils are reminded of feeding relationships and food webs are revised. They are then asked to consider what would happen if one section of the web was changed or removed. Introduced to the term interdependence. Pupils then continue to investigate the effects on an ecosystem when part of it is altered in any way. Simplified models are shown and it should be stressed that the effects are far more complex in reality.

This is a brilliant interactive resource to help children understand how a food web works and what happens when a part is altered. Children will love this.
