A lesson exploring Beatrice Garland’s poem Kamikaze, taken from the AQA Literature Power and Conflict anthology.

The lesson includes a Frayer model discussing the word “kamikaze”, a copy of the poem, some structured analysis provided for the first stanza, exploration of the context around Kamikaze pilots and WW2 and a relevant exam style question with sentence starters and peer assessment framework (relevant AQA mark scheme) included.
