A very useful resource to demonstrate literacy progress to SLT. I get the students to fix these document to the inside cover of their book and complete each term. They are useful when completing any written piece of work as students can check off each target when writing up.
Good for Year 7. The sheets are not differentiated at all for Years 8 and 9. It's the exact same resource x3. Some good ideas, but needs to be higher level for Years 8 and 9.

The targets in the resource are the end of KS3 literacy targets for sentence structure (in-line with the national curriculum). If you could please be more specific with what you think is missing that is included in the national curriculum I can update the resource? Once updated you will have access to this.

Only relates to sentence structure and very basic e.g. first target on all three sheets is to independently write a simple sentence and others include using a full stop! This is a Year 1 target! Very disappointed. I would really like my £3 back...

The resource is entitled 'sentence structure targets' therefore the resource does relate to sentence structure. Many students in KS3 struggle with all of the targets outlined on the resource, for example many students do not use punctuation correctly or do not include it at all. The document also links to the national curriculum for ks3 literacy and it is not ideal for KS1/2.
