This is a ppt I have created for a Y6 writing day, focusing on the music video 'Titanium'. The children absolutely love the video and responded really well to the tasks.
In addition to the writing day slides, the ppt also has a WAGOLL slide for each section of the story, past examples and success criteria (relating to the new expected/greater depth guidelines for Y6).
In this pack:
- PPT for whole unit
- Pages to create chn booklet for each activity
- door signs for writing day/carousel
- Sentence starter cards/starter activities
This has taken the Y6 team approx 3 weeks to complete, with approx 4 hours of writing a week.
I am currently working on a reading comprehension unit around the same video so let me know if you are interested.
