Thanks to Frederic Renouf for borrowing/adapting his original idea. Used as a starter but can be used to reinforce learning. Boxes are filled with key vocab on poverty and equality (more complex ones in the centre to make it more difficult). Advert on NGO is hidden behind. As they walk in students are given a piece of paper with word/phrase written on (see worksheet) & have to match it to the one on the board. If they answer correctly you click on the box and it disappears. When they finally guess who/what the NGO is you can also engage them in a discussion about their role in the world.

It's a nice activity but the vocab on ppt is on the topic of jobs rather than poverty? I think it's an accident.
