This is a simple but effective pupil tracker created in Excel. When using stations or student-guided learning, it is easy to assess students' progress by logging their position. This allows you time to focus on those who are not progressing and allows you to differentiate accordingly. Good evidence to show progress to OFSTED through generation of graph of progress.

This looks brilliant and will demonstrate progression really well. Thank you for sharing. What would be really nice would be if there was someone with knowledge of app development that could turn this into a classroom app. In the mean time this is great so thanks again. Neil

I used it today with a mixed ability year seven group. Set four electrical circuit building challenges of increasing complexity and got the pupils to log where they were every five minutes for twenty minutes. Worked an absolute treat. I think that an OFSTED inspector would love this! Much appreciated! Alex

This is a really interesting way to show progression during a lesson! I like the way you use the SOLO taxonomy to help your learners' progress. I added this resource to the @tesScience twitter stream. Thanks for sharing!
