This simple activity involves students dropping an egg onto a hard floor from a height of 4m. This is fun and educational. The point is to model the delivery of a space rover to another planet. The raw egg is the rover and the students are given some everyday objects to protect the egg.
The students score points on weather the egg survives, weight of the delivery system, how is easy it is to get egg out and budjet. All shown on power point.
Students as a class should decide on how to score in the different catagories in order to decide a winner.
