A first lesson for L4 pupils, possibly even L3+ students, beginning with key terms, comparison of photographs of graphs drawn by three pairs of pupils and then pupils drawing their own first quadrant.
Pupils then identify coordinates from the first quadrant and points find points along lines in the first quadrant and an unknown shape.
Resource finishes with a game for pupils and they may design their own version as well. Many opportunities for group approaches.
