A 'Maths Mission' worksheet. I took the problem from the internet and broke it down into steps on a worksheet for an able Y6 class to tackle. They begin investigating specific questions using diagrams and trial and error and progress to considering algebraic statements using the same methods. I imagine this is also suitable for older children!
