This file contains four mini-investigations to be carried out in pairs or small groups. The investigations are all on the subject of measure. They include a 'potion making' capacity task, a 'post office' weighing task, a 'wavy trail' measuring investigation and a unit of measure conversion puzzle. Each task takes approximately 25 minutes but can be extended or made shorter as needed. Each investigation also has a higher and lower ability version.
