Children measure the plants and then explain observations using measurements they have written. Then they explain conditions needed for good plant growth. The LA (lower ability sheet) only asks measuring in cm and has the conditions given. HA (higher ability) children measure in cm and mm and have to think of the conditions themselves. They also have to fill in the days from Monday being in the middle as opposed to the start.
