You have NOT understood what ä metaphor is, literally 90+ % of the examples used are simply adjectives and not metaphors. The only two I saw in the presentation were "set sail on a new course" and "sleeping giant". A metaphor is a phrase or figure of speech, not a single word that is used to substitute as a quirky adjective. EG, "piercing blue eyes" is NOT a metaphor, piercing is an adjective. Example: "The black sheep of the family" is a metaphor.
