Introduce the difference between a chemical change and a physical change (definitions are on the ppt). Work through the slides getting pupils to indicate whether they think the example is chemical or physical. There are a number of ways to do this quiz, depending on the type of group. You may wish to get all pupils on their feet and have one side of the room as chemical, and one as physical, and they must move between the two to convey their answer. Alternatively, a thumbs-up-thumbs-down method, or white boards, could offer a less energetic way to manage this starter.
