RE SMART and PowerPoint based on the unit “Creation and Science: conflicting or complementary?”
Six lessons plus all resources. Lessons cover the relationship between science and religion in terms of the creation of the universe.
Activities include a detailed study of the Genesis passage; a comprehension and mindmap activity based on Psalm 8; an art comparison activity; an activity considering questions best answered by either science or religion; a study of differing Christian beliefs in relation to Genesis; a study of official Church announcements regarding science; and a continuum sorting activity based on Christian beliefs. The last lesson focuses on a big debate looking at the unit’s Big Question Creation and Science: conflicting or complementary?
Lessons include videos, group/partner discussion, group tasks, individual tasks and making links to children’s own lives. All resources are included, and there is a printing requirement list for the whole unit. Please note - the SMART and PowerPoint contain the same content, but you need Notebook software to open SMART.
Hi, cannot open the PowerPoint. It says the file is corrupt. Please could you look into this as the resource looks fab.

Hi, I have uploaded the PowerPoint again and I have also converted it from the newer pptx format to an older version of PowerPoint in case that was the issue. So there are two identical PowerPoints uploaded now - one new PPT version and one older PPT version but with the same content. Please let me know if this doesn't solve the issue. Please note, you won't be able to open the SMART unless you have Notebook software installed but this is the same content as the two PowerPoints.

Misleading as says powerpoints but only 2 powerpoints - can't open the rest.

Hi, there is one PowerPoint which contains six lessons. The SMART is exactly the same content but for people who use Notebook software. The rest of the resources are Word documents. I've sold lots of this unit with no problems. Please check the PowerPoint again as your should find everything there.

Hi, I still cant open the smart, it says it is a notebook file and to check permissions. The power point is great, i've opened that now.

Hi, there is a PowerPoint and Smart uploaded. I can definitely see them there and many people have downloaded this with no problem. Maybe try again and if not let me know and I'll try to send them across.

Hi, the PowerPoint and SMART are identical. You can only open a SMART with certain software so that's why I convert it to a PPT. Glad it got sorted.
