RE SMART and PowerPoint based on the big question “What did Jesus do to save human beings?” Unit of 5 lessons based on Understanding Christianity plans with all resources included and a guide to printing requirements.
Each lesson includes a sticky knowledge retrieval quiz and vocabulary starter. Lessons include a bible passage comprehension on the Last Supper, animated videos, freeze frame activities, a study of the Stations of the Cross, a responsibility pie activity around who was to blame for Jesus’ death and emotional reactions to art depicting Jesus’ sacrifice. The unit culminates in looking at how Christians follow Jesus by considering different scenarios where someone’s burden is taken from them through the sacrifice of others.

Lessons include videos, group/partner discussion, group tasks, individual tasks and making links to children’s own lives. All resources are included, and there is a printing requirement list for the whole unit. Please note - the SMART and PowerPoint contain the same content, but you need Notebook software to open SMART.
