RE SMART + PPT "Who is Jewish and what do they believe?" PART ONE - 5 lessons and all resources

This RE SMART and PowerPoint is a series of five lessons and all resources based on RE planning for the unit “Who is Jewish and what do they believe?” Please note that this resource is the first five lessons of the unit which is intended to be taught over two terms (See “Who is Jewish and what do they believe?” PART TWO for the next five lessons). However, each unit could be used as a stand alone unit.
Each lesson starts with a sticky knowledge retrieval quiz and vocabulary activity.
Activities include a personal precious object discussion; special Jewish objects photo task; personal belief task based on Shema; special word task linked to mezuzah; mystery thinking box activity of Jewish artefacts/photos; artefact mind map; 60 second drawing task based on the Creation story; study of Shabbat; and choreographing a dance inspired by the Creation story.

Lessons include videos, group/partner discussion, group tasks, individual tasks and making links to children’s own lives. All resources are included, and there is a printing requirement list for the whole unit. Please note - the SMART and PowerPoint contain the same content, but you need Notebook software to open SMART.
