Reel to Real : Twelfth Night

Specially created by National Schools Partnership, Into Film and the learning department at the Victoria and Albert Museum, this resource focuses on Trevor Nunn’s 1996 film adaptation of Shakespeare’s gender-bending comedy, Twelfth Night, and is one of eight films being screened for schools at the V&A.

The pdf resource and accompanying PowerPoint presentation offer a fresh take on this classic set text, exploring characters, themes and historical context through carefully-chosen film clips alongside content from the V&A's world-renowned collections of art, design and performance to enrich the learning experience. These resources are ideal for English literature and drama for ages 11-16.
