Using ramps and cars the students plan their investigation using the planning sheet, and then carry out the investigation. This can all be done in one lesson.
I then set them the task of writing up the investigation (using the level ladder) as homework, but could be done in a subsequent lesson

Lacks depth and detail of key words in an investigation. No mention of variables in ppt to recap if students don't know what they are rather than just telling them on the sheet, little bit vague for the cost.
