I have created a document with the pattern for the Knitted Digestive System and my very easy to make model of the small intestine can be found as an activity sheet on the Perkins School website. Teaching this subject in such a tactile way really brings it to life and makes much more sense than looking at a digram. It really gets the point across that the digestive system is simply one long tube from mouth to anus!
