Statistics: AQA Entry Level 1 Maths

This resource has been designed for students working towards the AQA Entry Level Certificate in Maths who are working at Entry Level 1. It contains an age-appropriate, editable, 90-slide PowerPoint lesson and a 27-page workbook on statistics (component 8).

The PowerPoint explains how to:

1.1 Sort and classify objects using a single criterion.
1.2 Interpret and draw conclusions from a list or group of objects.
1.3 Construct and interpret simple line graphs including bar graphs.

It can be used to introduce students to the statistics component of the specification and for revision purposes.

Statistics Workbook

This 27-page workbook includes 4 information pages, 17 worksheets (with answers), 2 progress checks and a certificate of achievement. It is available in PFD and an editable Powerpoint version. It is an ideal resource for classwork, homework or as an independent learning pack.
