Religion and stem cell research are discussed in this science lesson starter suitable for KS3 and KS4 students. A pastor talks about the religious debate surrounding stem cell research and addresses some of the ethical issues associated with the use of stem cells. This short video aims to stimulate debate and can be used as a starting point for discussion and further activities with students.

Absolutely love the thought provoking activities on this sheet! Lots of different ones for kidney transplant, the ethics around it etc. Really good to motivate pupils and to get pupils realising the problems we have today with limited numbers of donations. Excellent. The video is quite useful too but would definately suggest a look at the activity sheet!
