This is a set of newly developed resources that I use for KS3 Year 9. The lessons are all fully resourced (any worksheets are at the end of the PP) and there is no need for any text books to be used. The lessons are as follows:

  4. What was the first Cold War confrontation? Berlin Blockade/ Airlift
  5. How dangerous was it to escape over the Berlin Wall?
  6. How close was nuclear war in 1962? The Cuban Missile Crisis
  7. Key Marked Piece
  8. Did the USA really land on the moon? The space race
  9. Why did the USA fight a war in Vietnam?
  10. Why did the USA lose the war in Vietnam?
  11. Were there attempts made to reduce tensions? detente
  12. Why did the Soviet Union Collapse?
  13. Summary- make your own historical cartoon

VIP tests and sheets also included- similar to knowledge organisers.
