Two lessons that focus on the EU referendum. The first explores what a referendum is in general and weighs up the pros and cons of using them to decide on issues. The second lesson specifically focuses on the EU referendum and simplifies the arguments on both sides of the debate. There are a wide range of interactive activities , printable resources, differentiation, short video and accompanying task. There is a formal assessment at the end with mark scheme and peer/self review task. There is also an optional creative task for students to do as part of a display.
