Starter for Probability topic. 'Coins in Bag' type puzzle that can be set using the first 3 slides. The remaining slides show the answer with working. Shows how to multiply across to calculate probability for 2 step events. Demonstrates that sometimes maths will come up with counterintuitive answers. All images are creative commons. Updated 23.12.12 due to issue with later version of Office not working on older software.

This is a nice way to check understanding of how to use tree diagrams in an engaging way. I would use this as an investigation after having taught the basics of tree diagrams. Thank you for sharing.
