THE WATER BABIES: SELECTING RELEVANT EVIDENCE - RED TRIP

This is part of the first fully differentiated lesson of a scheme which looks at selecting information from a text. This is the differentiated red learning trip which provides more support to low attaining students to aid independent learning.

Other differentiated learning trips are the ORANGE (suitable for average attainers - minimal support) and GREEN (suitable for high attaining students - no support). There is also a powerpoint. All these are listed separately.

Based on the Charles Kingsley's 'The Water Babies' it is ideal for those teachers who need to move slightly away from the English curriculum and provide extra intervention for maybe smaller groups. These lessons could also be used for cover lessons.

These are great revision tools for students to look back upon if placed in exercise books and they could also be used to measure progress from start to end.
