Are you looking for a cute Valentine’s Day craft that also gives your students maths practice with their 2D shapes? This pack includes differentiation options for students to practise naming and identifying 2D shapes and their attributes while making a letterbox to post their math envelopes.

Students find the shape stamp that matches the facts or clues on the envelope. They then complete the facts or clues, make the letterbox, and post their envelopes.

This pack includes envelopes suitable for lower and higher grades, or you can easily differentiate by using a combination of the two sets. There are 9 envelopes per set.

Lower years (2,3)
Shapes include: triangle, rectangle, circle, square, pentagon, rhombus, octagon, hexagon, and trapezium (trapezoid in US version)

Higher years (3,4,5)
Shapes include: parallelogram, pentagon, hexagon (irregular), trapezium (trapezoid in US version), right triangle (right-angle), quadrilateral, rectangle, rhombus, and isosceles triangle

Photo instructions are included to make the letterbox, and there is an answer key for easy reference, although the activity is self-checking as each stamp can only be used once.

The letterbox is approx. 2.5in x 4in / 6cm x 10cm
