I have written a guide to writing your UCAS personal statement, which covers university and course choice, as well how to write the personal statement itself, and some comments on tuition fees.

Very helpful... giving it to my students to ponder over the Summer Holidays (I know it's early but I want them to finish UCAS applications by October and with exams coming up in just over a month they'll forget all about it)
