Year 9 - Devising and Improvising

Perfect for a Year 9 group that aren’t keen on performing! At the end of the unit, pupils can either present their ideas or perform their devised piece.

In this series of 6 lessons, pupils are given the stimulus that ‘Ryan Evans has just hit his Science teacher with a chair.’ Pupils then create a devised piece based on this using the carefully planned lessons and resources to guide them through it. For a reluctant Yr9 group they can present their ideas at the end of the unit if performing is too much of a challenge.
