This delightful plan explores the wonders of the sea through a wide range of poems. The children compare poems and use imagery and their own experiences to create poems of their own.

This was a fantastic resource to use with my Year 2 children. I supplemented it by playing Morcheeba's "The sea" and Kinobe's "Slip into something...." (instrumental version). With a scene of waves crashing on the IWB - the kids loved it. It supported our work on adjectives and even revised 'pushes and pulls' too. Many thanks!
