The Alice in Wonderland escape room game would be perfect for a classroom set up for educators during golden time or as part of a topical lesson. It’s also an easy go-to for parents to give their children a little bit of fun homework that’s also educational. Head down the rabbit hole and start building those life skills! *This is an escape room style printable game - if you love real life escape rooms, you’re sure to adore getting to play this in your own space, in your own time! Escape rooms are always a little tricky, and hopefully this can activate your logic and critical thinking skills. Enjoy the challenge! WHAT’S THE STORY? Curiouser and curiouser. Alice has quite forgotten what she’s lost. Before you know it, you’re tumbling down the rabbit hole after her into a Wonderland of puzzles. Time is ticking on the White Rabbit’s pocket watch. Can you work out the clues, find what has been lost, and get out of Wonderland before it’s off with your head? HOW TO PLAY THE ALICE IN WONDERLAND ESCAPE ROOM This Alice in Wonderland at-home escape room takes little prep. Simply print out the PDF document and follow the simple instructions to set up. There is a little cutting and pinning, but it should only take a few minutes to get the party started. There are also some handy ‘hints’ included in case you get stuck on the way and forget which way is up. All the instructions are included, and the players (you may turn big or small in no time at all in this game) will have fun trying to reach the end before the time runs out. The Alice at home escape room would also make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves the book, or simply can’t get enough escape rooms. *Disclaimer - The time limit is a guide only and escape rooms may not always be completed in this time limit. All clues are meant to test mental agility and allow players to think out of the box. The answers are not designed to be obvious at first glance. You need nothing more than paper, the provided PDF documents, a colour printer, and scissors. You don’t need any special equipment, and the person who sets up the game can also join in the fun! You can easily set up the experience in any space: at school, at home, or even at a team building party! Players will move from room to room on the hunt for clues, feeling like they’ve jumped right into Alice’s story.

Here is a checklist I have made to help assess children's writing against the new curriculum's expectations. Also a child friendly resource I use with our children during our writing sessions for them to make sure that they are including the features needed to meet the 'expected standard' in the new curriculum. Can also be used as a peer or self assessment tool or even by teachers to check that their children are writing at the expected standard. Please leave feedback. Hope it helps!
