A complete assembly/presentation on the significance of William Shakespeare. Comes with script and PPT whch features YouTube clips. Looks at his history and his relevance today. Can be used as a classroom presentation before a topic of work on Shakespeare or as a school assembly. If used as an assembly then it has been written for either a class to deliver or an individual.

Designed for a cast of 18. It involves 5 children going back to Elizabethan times and watching 3 scenes from 3 different Shakespeare’s plays and is very comical. I have simplified the wording of each play so it is suitable for the age range; I have also included lyrics from a horrible history song at the end.

This 12 slide presentation is a little GCSE (IGCSE) fun for April as that month commemorates the bard's birth. There are several questions and topics for debate ( Macbeth was justified/ Shakespeare would never win an Oscar today) and a name the quote/ speaker/ play slide. Originally put together as an assembly, it is also useful as part of an English curriculum on Shakespeare.

Powerpoint for Shakespeare Day, focuses on who Shakespeare was then introduces a sonnet for KS2-5 with a reading and discussion oppurtunites for each. Depending on the nature of the group you may use others with different year groups. Students can then have a go at writing their own sonnet.

A comprehensive, 15-20 minute assembly which celebrates Shakespeare’s birth/death anniversary (23rd April) by giving a brief biography of his life and by looking at Shakespeare’s impact and legacy. Suitable for KS2/3/4. Could also be used to introduce Shakespeare in the classroom. The assembly can be delivered by one person or as a class/group when using the script.
