IB Maths AA HL - Complete Notes

5 Resources
If you want a preview, try the first (SL) topic of the new course for free Handwritten notes on the new syllabus for IBDP Math for 2021 - Analysis & Approaches HL (A&A HL). It is 111 pages - 24 on Algebra, 19 on Functions, 22 on Trigonometry, 16 on Statistics, 30 on Calculus. So it is far more concise than the ~1000 pages of an HL textbook. It is split into 5 topics, which all have the SL content within them. There will also be significant overlap with the Applications and Interpretations course. I wrote and sold notes for the old IB courses, which have been fairly successful, so I am in the process of writing notes for the new courses, from scratch. TOPICS: 1 - Algebra 2 - Functions 3 - Trigonometry and Geometry 4 - Statistics and Probability 5 - Calculus Please ‘follow’ my shop, so you will be notified when other notes become available over the next few months. Please let me know if you have any feedback or improvements that could be made.

Aiming at Grade 4 - GCSE Maths Revision Workbook

(0)
Here is a complete workbook of Grade 4 topics for GCSE Maths. Answers also included. I created this for my classes this year as they are mixed ability within foundation GCSE. I also made an aiming at grade 2 and aiming at grade 3 workbooks that I will hopefully also upload. They are great for all general work, classwork, homework, revision. To decide on the topics I did some brief analysis of recent papers and what topics came up compared to marks needed for a grade 4. If students are confident on the majority of the topics in this workbook, then they should be able to achieve a grade 4. Note in the top right corner on Page 3 there is a blank space, here I added a QR code to the answers, you could do similar. There are exactly 100 topics covered across: Four Operations Fractions Factors, Multiples and Primes Decimals Percentages Fractions, Decimals & Percentages Rounding Powers and Roots Indices Ratio Algebra Expanding & Factorising Solving Linear Equations Straight Line Graphs Inequalities Angles Angles in Polygons 2D Shapes Perimeter Area 3D Shapes Measure Time Money Compound measure Scale Drawings Transformations Similarity Probability Venn Diagrams Averages & the Range Frequency Tables Scatter Graphs

Escape Room: Easter Egg Hunt Math Mystery (Spring)

(0)
Students love Escape Rooms and Easter. Combine them and it is a hit. Capture their imagination with this escape room and get the students excited for learning. A perfect way to celebrate Easter and Spring. This Easter Escape Room can work for both individuals and groups. I typically print off the clues in color, laminate them for durability, and scatter them around the room. I place the students in groups of 2-4. The students work their way around the clues solving them and putting the answers on the students page (which I double side, as it has the story on one side and a space for the answers on the other). When they have finished they check back in with the teacher to confirm if they are correct. I typically give them an Easter Egg at this stage (but that is up to you). The Story: You have turned up at school and your lovely teacher has bought an Easter egg each for the whole class!! The whole class cheers in anticipation of the chocolate goodness. As the teacher reaches into their basket they discover it is empty of Easter eggs . In its place is a safe which requires a numbered code to open. Next to the safe are 10 clues. Solve the clues to reveal the code so that you can discover what is in the safe. The Puzzles: Puzzle 1: A grid logic puzzle Puzzle 2: A cryptogram Puzzle 3: 4 digit addition and subtraction problems Puzzle 4: Following Directions Puzzle 5: Reading charts and graphs Puzzle 6: Multiple single digit addition and subtraction Puzzle 7: Hundreds Board with multiples, addition and subtraction Puzzle 8: Algebra Puzzle Puzzle 9: Addition hexagon Puzzle 10: Addition circles Enjoy and please remember to follow me by clicking the following link to easily find my latest resources and receive discounts.

Venn Diagrams

(11)
This was delivered to a low ability year 10 class. It is quite basic and missing some of the more complicated concepts dealing with Venn diagrams. This is a PowerPoint intent on explaining how to fill a Venn Diagram with examples. I tried to include the important things to include when completing a Venn diagram. There are some generic questions contained within the slides. Slides 1-7 were seen on lesson 1 and then I gave the class examples of this type. Slides 8-18 were seen in lesson 2 (after recapping the previous slides) and further examples of this type were given to the class. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as this is my first resource I have uploaded.
