Although my specialism is English, I have taught GCSE Citzienship, Language and Lit, Media Studies, Maths & History. I have also taught all of those at Key Stage 3, so there is an eclectic mix here. These are two lessons that follow each other in sequence for the AQA Language exam. Each refers to the mark scheme and has separate techniques that can be used to help to create descriptive writing. They also have opportunities for PEA reading answers and self evaluation.

Creating Posters - Titanic - Ideal for a cover lesson, this lesson shows examples of posters and the text that is used. Encourages pupils to think about what the Titanic offered and asks them to make their own poster, based on previously taught knowledge of the ship.
