Fun starter. The students have to name a different ADJECTIVE for each letter of the alphabet. 6 of them have to be 6 letters+. The PowerPoint has a lot of fun images, answers and gifs. The students love this!

Over 60 documents (inc. 22 PowerPoints) covering the whole EDUQAS GCSE English Language exams. Component 1: creative writing and reading a creative text. An ‘outstanding’ lesson on the language question (HOW…) in paper 2. This fantastic lesson uses the exam question, ‘How does the writer try to show that Nik Wallenda’s tightrope walk was astonishing and dramatic?’ It’s based on the November 2018 exam which looked at two articles on daredevils tightrope walking across Niagra Falls. There is a also an excellent examiner podcast that really benefits the students.
