A step by step, scaffolded approach to teaching your students how to write a three paragraph personal narrative with; beginning (problem), middle, end (solution and transformation). Write an acrostic poem, create a post card and solve a crossword after reading or listening to the picture story book, "On a Beam of Light" by Jennifer Berne. The template makes it easy for students to create an acrostic poem. There are two versions one for Albert and a second for Einstein. The post card template has a space for writing a short letter, writing an address (optional) and/or drawing an illustration for the back. The crossword is a little difficult but not too much I think.
