The Opening Paragraph bundle is a set of creative writing resources that will help the children to understand the importance of an opening paragraph. It has NC learning objective links and a lesson plan with suggestions on how to use the resources and video.

The Time Traveller and the Adventure in Ancient Rome is the first book in the series of cross curricular resources. These resources allow teachers to fulfill the requirements of the National Curriculum.
The story includes facts about Ancient Rome, especially the life of a Roman citizen.
A series of teaching resources, that cover reading and writing learning objectives, have been produced to accompany the book.
The book can be used as a class reader to introduce the volcanoes topic or as a group reader in a guided reading session.
