This is a detailed, 10 slide presentation on the suffragette, Emily Davison, who became a martyr for the suffragette movement when she ran in front of the king's horse. Use it as part of a lesson or for an assembly for KS3 or KS4. This is an assembly for Mother’s Day, with a focus on a Bible quote. There is a 4 page pdf plan and a 20 slide animated PowerPoint (non-editable- click ‘Read Only’ to open). In this assembly, children are encouraged to think about what they learn from their parents. The plan is easy to follow and requires no resources, so is perfect for using at the last minute! I like leading assemblies that are interactive, engaging and relevant to the children’s lives.
