I have created some fun, light activities for my year 1 children’s forth week back to school. They include some maths resources and phonics activities alongside some fun, well-being activities aimed at allowing the children to enjoy school life. They are mostly based around Elmer. They can be edited and adapted as you wish! They match week 4s teaching slides that can be found on my page!

To accompany my Week 3 Fantastic Mr Fox Teaching Slides, here are the resources for week 3 and 4! They include: -Grammar (including sentence structure) -Whole class reading (audience and purpose) -Science (materials) These resources were taught to my Year 1 class in Summer term, but could be suitable for Spring too.

I have uploaded my 3 week Literacy unit that I used with my Year 1 and 2 children in Spring term. Using the online picture book ‘Rosie’s Glasses’ from GetEpic, we wrote a narrative about Rosie’s world transforming from dull and boring to bright, vibrant and colourful. The pack includes 3 reading lessons (based on the VIPERS scheme) and 4 writing sessions including SPaG appropriate for Spring Term with Year 1 and 2. The final week focuses on writing with already made word banks and success criterias.

I am sharing my Year 2 Fast Maths which aim to build speedy fluency skills. They build up skills each week using the White Rose timetable (with some example SATS questions) with a range of questions including areas of Maths that have already been covered (calculations, place value, money, shape and more!). There are 5 weeks worth of daily Fast Maths sheets (2 per page).

I have uploaded my Year 1 Fast Maths for Spring 2 which aims to consolidate and increase Maths fluency . We follow White Rose and so all content follows their timetable, with recaps. Maths questions include number, shape and addition/subtraction/multiplication/division skills, as well as varying other units. The pack includes 5 weeks worth of daily Fast Maths sheets (2 per page). Please note, some weeks only have 4 Fast Maths due to Bank Holidays
