This resource is a unit of work around fitness testing and training. It includes 6 lesson plans that introduces pupils to the theory behind fitness testing and training. There is also a module overview to help guide teachers for target setting.
The unit is book-ended by fitness testing with the middle weeks having a focus on the theory of exercise whilst pupils exercise and work towards their own individual training aims.
3/4 lessons worth of content over 2 powerpoints all based on the training methods related to the components of fitness.
