Early Years Continuous Provision - Colour Monster Suitable for Early Years or Year 1 This scheme of work has been planned with emotional literacy in mind. It could be used at any point in the year, particularly if you are helping children to understand and deal with their emotions. However, it would be a great transition resource for the first half term of reception. Part 1 - Each day includes one group or whole class activity that focuses on children dealing with and understanding their emotions.
