8 weeks on Earth and Space year 5 Science unit

Using the challenge curriculum, a set of 8 weeks of plans plus a pre-learning lesson plan. Each lesson meets a National Curriculum objective and incorporates the questions children ask so as to personalise the learning more while still meeting the curriculum objectives. There are mixed ability group tasks as well as 'chili challenges' which are differentiated tasks which the children should be encouraged to choose from to ensure the challenge curriculum principles of choice are being met. The plans are cross curricula linking to English lessons on Moon Man by Tomi Ungerer, DT and Computing.
