A set of lesson resources around a presentation explaining how a branching database is organised and used to differentiate between organisms. I used this with my Year 4 class to help them understand the hierarchical nature of the database and that 3 levels of questions apply to the organisms at the bottom level. Pupils explored a branching database and then wrote their own on paper and using the PowerPoint. [Please be aware, unable to upload template file, Branching Database Empty is a regular ppt file]
