DOUBLE LESSON - A detailed and well-differentiated, editable history lesson all about how William the Conqueror consolidated his power. The lesson focuses in detail on castles, the feudal system, bringing allies from Normandy and the Domesday Book.
This lesson lasts around 2 hours and is very easy to just pick up and use. This is suitable for any KS3 class (and could be used for KS4 - it’s full of exam-style source questions).
The download includes: a detailed PowerPoint, a variety of activities, worksheets, source questions, exam style practice questions, clips, group tasks and more. Acitivities are differentiated 3 ways where possible.
