Powerpoint for Reflection
A powerpoint that can be used on the IWB showing shapes and how they are reflected. This activity would work best if a grid could be brought up on the IWB that overlays the powerpoint.

Rounding and Approximation
Two worksheets of questions; the first asks pupils to read a chart and approximate distances. The second asks pupils to calculate using all 4 operations and to round to the nearest 10 or 100.
Odds and Even Game
A game for 2 players. Move a counter forwards if an even numbers is rolled and back for odd numbers. The winner is the first person to reach the ‘win’ space at the end of the track.
Halloween Addition and Subtraction Problems.
Two pages of Halloween themed word problems. The first page shows 4 subtraction only problems. The second page has a mixture of addition and subtraction problems. They use a variety of mathematical language and units of measurement including ml, £, houses, ghosts etc.
How much change do I get?
Three way differentiated word problems for pupils to calculate how much change would be given if they bought items using 20p, £1 or £2.50.
Times and Division Cards for Inverse matching
Two sets of cards. The first set show 6 x tables and the corresponding division calculations. The second set are for the 9 x tables and the inverse.
TV Viewing Figures and questions for addition.
Three differentiated question sheets featuring viewing figures of children's television programs. Pupils need to read the tables, extract the correct figures and add the appropriate amounts to be able to answer the questions regarding viewers on each day.

Addition word problems. Numbers used can be easily altered for different abilities.

Great to use as a starter or whole class activity. These loop cards are differentiated.
Finding fractions of a number
Three differentiated sheets that can be used to record finding fractions of a number. Cubes/numicon are suggested as objects children can use to carry out this activity. There is also a fraction of shapes activity which could potentially be used for SEN children, with a different LO, alongside the fractions of a number activity.
Monster Drink Investigation
Monster is having a party and needs to make an extra special drink. Pupils can work in pairs to work out how much drink Monster needs to make and to write a recipe for his special drink. A slide show and accompanying worksheet are included in this resource.
